During setup you may need to allow “unknown sources” → Allow → Install.
Installation steps
The app is not store-signed yet, so your operating system may ask for a one-time confirmation on first launch — this is normal and safe.
- Open the .dmg file you downloaded and drag Parentsoft into the Applications folder.
- If you see a “cannot be verified” warning on first launch, click OK.
- Open System Settings → Privacy & Security; below, next to “Parentsoft was blocked”, click “Open Anyway”.
- Confirm with “Open” once more — later launches show no warning.
