This Privacy Policy explains how PRONET TEKNOLOJİ YAZILIM GELİŞTİRME VE DIŞ TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ (“Parentsoft”, “we”) collects, processes and protects your personal data when you use our parental control and device monitoring services. It also serves as the disclosure notice required under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). By using the service you confirm that you have read this policy.

2. Data We Process

  • Account data: your e-mail address and account creation details.
  • Payment data: reference details of payments made by bank transfer (we never store card data).
  • Monitored device data: by the nature of the service, data collected from the device you installed the app on and are authorised to supervise — location, app usage, screen time and similar — accessible only through your own account.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser/device information, cookies (see Cookies).

3. Purposes and Legal Grounds

We process your data to provide and maintain the service, create your account, reconcile payments, ensure security, meet legal obligations and communicate with you. Processing relies on the conclusion/performance of a contract, legitimate interest, explicit consent and legal obligation (KVKK art. 5).

4. Transfers

Your data may be shared with hosting, payment and infrastructure providers that are strictly necessary to operate the service (within the scope of KVKK art. 8 and 9), with the required security measures and in compliance with applicable law. Your data is never sold to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Retention

Your personal data is retained for as long as the processing purpose requires and for the statutory limitation periods; at the end of that period it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

6. Data Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and protected against unauthorised access by administrative and technical measures.

7. Responsible Use

Parentsoft is intended solely for lawful parental supervision. You are obliged to use the service only on the device of a minor child under your custody, or on the device of a person whose explicit consent you have obtained (see Lawful Use).

8. Your Rights as a Data Subject (KVKK art. 11)

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information, to learn whether it is used for its intended purpose, to request rectification or erasure, to object to processing and to claim compensation for damages. You may exercise these rights using the methods set out in the Application section below.

9. KVKK Application

You may submit requests under Law No. 6698 in writing to [email protected] or via . Depending on their nature, applications are concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest; if the process incurs an additional cost, the fee set out in the tariff determined by the Authority may be charged.

10. Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by the websites you visit. They are used to run the site more efficiently and improve your experience. The cookie types we use:
